Know the lawyer you choose when your freedom or family is at stake.
Trial attorney by calling. Strategist by nature.
People usually find Sly Law during one of the hardest chapters of their lives. Attorney Sly built his practice to give them direct access to the lawyer responsible for understanding the full position and preparing the next deliberate move.
A request is a preliminary conflict, fit, and fee review. It is not legal advice, acceptance of a matter, or deadline monitoring.

Attorney Mohammad Slaimon “Sly” Ayoubi
Attorney Sly is a trial attorney by calling and a strategist by nature. He listens for what is said, studies what is missing, and looks for the pattern connecting the evidence, the people, and the decisions that brought a case to this point.
It started with a suit jacket and the family landline.
“I was born to litigate.”Attorney Sly Ayoubi
In Sly’s words
My education began at home. My mother was a diplomat and a professor at Butler University. My two brothers chose medicine and became doctors. I respected their path, but I always felt called somewhere else: the courtroom.
Long before law school, I was the little boy in a suit jacket passing out cards I had written myself, with our home telephone number as the office line. I did not have a law license or an office. I already knew I wanted to stand up, speak for people, and build something of my own.

How Attorney Sly thinks
Recognize the pattern. Change the position.
At the University of Dayton School of Law, Attorney Sly served as law school president and became the 3L chess champion. Chess sharpened the working habit at the center of his preparation: study the whole position before choosing the next move.
A criminal accusation, family conflict, or investigation can look like a collection of unrelated events. Attorney Sly looks for what repeats, what is missing, where the pressure sits, and how one decision may affect everything that follows.
“Only when you recognize the pattern can you begin to break it and change what comes next.”Attorney Sly Ayoubi
Pattern recognition is Attorney Sly’s personal working method, not a certification or claimed specialty. Every strategy remains grounded in the facts, evidence, law, forum, timing, and the client’s lawful objectives.

Start with the legal path. Then find the situation.
Two practice areas form the center of Sly Law. Each path leads to plain-language guides built around the problem a potential client is facing.
Attorney Sly’s court perspective began with a 2009 judicial internship in the Marion County Superior Court under Judge David A. Shaheed. In 2011, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and served clients under supervision as a certified legal intern in the school’s law clinic.
His work has also included reported appellate matters in Indiana and Ohio. That experience reinforced a practical trial-level rule: identify the controlling issue, protect the record early, and do not let today’s shortcut narrow tomorrow’s options.
“Understand the facts. Respect the record. Do not waste a client’s time.”Attorney Sly Ayoubi
Past work, reported decisions, and professional recognition do not guarantee or predict a result. Every matter depends on its facts, law, record, forum, and timing.

Faith is personal. Service is a responsibility.
For Attorney Sly, religion is an individual journey toward the right path. He believes the Almighty may place people in our lives to help us, test us, teach us, or ask us to serve. He does not presume to know why another person is facing hardship. He does believe that listening carefully and helping faithfully in a person’s time of need is an honor.
“In your time of need, it would be my honor to help you find a lawful path forward. This is my calling.”Attorney Sly Ayoubi
Faith informs Attorney Sly’s commitment to truth, mercy, preparation, and justice. It does not replace Indiana law, evidence, or a client’s lawful objectives. Sly Law welcomes people of every faith and no faith, and every client receives the same serious attention.
When the stakes are real
Your case is part of your life. Your lawyer should understand both.
Attorney Sly begins by listening: what happened, what is at risk, and what matters most to the person asking for help. Keep the first request brief. Sly Law will screen conflicts, fit, availability, and possible next steps before requesting detailed facts or documents.
